My partner had the most amazing experience. That's right! At a candy shop! My partner went in looking for some candy for his snack (that's me)! The shop owner took the time to ask about my candy profile and nailed it!! He came home with great assortment of sour and sweet candies. He was very impressed with the shop owners level of knowledge. 10/10 going to have to stop myself from going back daily!

Ghirardelli Square offers both a look back into history and a great place to enjoy what that name has come to be associated with: dessert bliss! My family really enjoyed the free samples that they were offering! It is an easy walk to the The San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park which offers a wide open expanse which is great to enjoy your Ghirardelli desserts while stretching out. It is also an easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf which offers an endless assortment of stores to shop in. If you’re visiting San Francisco then this is one place you do not want to miss.

If you eat chocolate you definitely should know the name Ghirardelli. This place is super busy and you will wait in lines but the Desserts are Stupendous with their chocolates and sauces. They also sale all of their delicious candies and chocolates. You can find all the flavors even the seasonal ones if your from out of town. Lots of other gift shops and restaurants in the Ghirardelli complex. I highly recommend stopping buy an indulging in some delicious desserts made up Ghirardelli style.

Obviously, Ghirardelli Square is a huge tourist attraction in San Francisco and getting some of the ice cream is a must do if you are visiting. We ordered the world famous hot fudge sundae. It was a good size for one person and was delicious! Others in our group had other sundaes that were big enough for two to share. While pricey, it was a nice treat to have in the middle of our busy day!

Amazing chocolates and other mouth watering sweets... This place is definitely a must visit if you come vacation SF. Nice ambiance and exceptional overall customer service. Only thing was that this place typically has lots of people coming in and out as well as a rush crowd so you may want to plan your visit here accordingly to your schedule. I personally spent about an hour and half to get want I wanted, order ice cream, buy chocolates, and exploring the area.
